Season 4: nothing to buy yet

HBO has not released a single still of a Season 4 costume — nor named the costume designer. The moment it does, the looks land here, with the pieces. What is on the record so far:

  • The costume designer

No Season 4 costume designer announced in any source we could open (checked 2026-10-14). Alex Bovaird designed Seasons 1–3; her return is unconfirmed. Season 4 cast/crew coverage names only Mike White (creator/writer/director) and executive producers David Bernad and Mark Kamine.

  • From the set

Official logline: a new group of guests and staff over a week during the Cannes Film Festival. Filming began 15 April 2026 in Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Monaco; Airelles Château de la Messardière becomes the 'White Lotus du Cap' and the Hôtel Martinez the 'White Lotus Cannes'.

    Monaco Tribune (20 Apr 2026) ↗
  • From the set

Laura Dern joined the cast after Helena Bonham Carter left shortly after filming began; Dern plays a new character created by Mike White, not Bonham Carter's role.

    Variety Australia ↗
  • From the set

Four days into the festival (15 May 2026) the production had not yet appeared in Cannes; AP said some cast members were attending the festival on their own.

Associated Press (via WTOP), 15 May 2026 ↗
  • From the set

Only fashion detail reported from the set: Laura Dern was filmed on the Palais des Festivals red-carpet steps 'in formal eveningwear' with Chris Messina, Marissa Long and Charlie Hall. No designers or costume details have been reliably reported.

  • On the real red carpet

Vincent Cassel (S4 cast) walked the real Cannes 2026 red carpet on Thursday 14 May for the premiere of Asghar Farhadi's 'Parallel Tales', with Narah Baptista. Designer: not reported by any reputable source we opened.

  • On the real red carpet

Laura Dern (S4 cast), on a break from filming, walked the carpet on 20 May 2026 with her father Bruce Dern and her children Jaya and Ellery Harper. AP's caption names the 'De Gaulle: Tilting Iron' premiere; Town & Country ties the night to Bruce Dern's documentary 'Dernsie'. Look: 'a sparkling silver column gown, embellished with sequins and overlayed with a cape of transparent chiffon' (Town & Country). Designer: not named in sources we could open. A WWD search snippet credits Giorgio Armani, but the article is paywalled and we could not verify it.

  • Chelsea

The full-moon-party glitter eye: a pink-and-purple wash topped with opaque violet glitter, meant to feel girly and childlike.

    • Viseart Brights Palette (pink and purple shades)
    • Lemonhead Glitter Pro Artist Palette in Violet Hour
    • MAKE Beauty Mascara

I wanted it to feel childlike, perhaps a nod to Chelsea being around some younger people her own age

  • Victoria Ratliff

No single signature lip after all: an orange-red Chanel from Parker Posey's own bag rotated with softer tints; red nails.

    • Chanel lipstick, printed by TZR as '817 Rouge Selen' (Posey's own)
    • MAKE Beauty Supreme Lipstick in Equilibrium
    • Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Hibiscus
    • Merit Shade Slick Lip Oil in Pink Beet
    • OPI nail polish in Coca-Cola (red)

Eye make-up matched to every outfit — green, blue, pink, purple — with baby-pink nails.

    • Stila Liquid Eyeshadow in Violet Velvet
    • Stila Liquid Eyeshadow in Something Blue

I had this crazy idea to match all of her outfits to her eye makeup

  • Harper Spiller

Hardened neutrals: matte eyeshadow throughout, contour, a mostly natural lip and rust-coloured nails.

    • OPI rust-colour nail polish (shade unnamed)

We decided on an OPI rust color nail that is unexpected but still a little tough

    — Rebecca Hickey

    The Zoe Report ↗

  • Portia

Gen-Z colour: one bright shade (green, blue or pink) on the lid rimmed in black liner, dewy skin, chartreuse nails.

    • Kosas 10-Second Shadow
    • Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow
    • Pat McGrath pigment shadow palettes
    • Danessa Myricks (for glitter/intensity)
    • UZU eyeliner
    • Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Highlighter & Balm Duo (TZR: 'the exact balm used on-set')

We kept it modern by using mostly one color tone on the lid and rimming it with black liner.

  • Tanya McQuoid

'Classic drama': big bold eyes, strip lashes, heavy contour, a lined pink lip and press-on French tips.

    • MAC lip liner in Whirl, with a pink gloss over it (gloss unidentified)
    • press-on French-tip nails (brand unidentified)

Press-on French tip nails are her thing, which we thought was perfect for Tanya

    — Rebecca Hickey

  • Daphne Sullivan

Girl-next-door consistency: the same blush, a few lip colours, always a gem-coloured eye, pale pink nails.

    • Essie pale pink nail polish (shade unnamed)

I think most women wear the same look daily, so we kept her blush consistent

  • Whole cast (season approach)

'Clean and natural' holiday make-up: Hickey began on the assumption that nobody wears much make-up on vacation.

When I first got hired, I thought, OK, everyone has to be clean and natural.

  • Tanya McQuoid

Classic drama kept consistent from Hawaii to Sicily: bold eyes, strip lashes and plenty of contour.

    • MAC lip liner in Whirl
    • Tom Ford contour palette (name unidentified)
    • strip lashes (brand unidentified)

She doesn’t sway too much with different colors and knows what works best on her face.
